I'd need to met your eyes, in person, to truely read them. For the reading occurs not in a single static second captured on film, but in the subtle ways eyes change over the space of several moments: widening, dilating, narrowing, peering, blinking, focussing, unfocussing, crinkling up with smile lines, becoming watery with tears. Eyes must be looked into before one can read them.
Glimpses of your soul shine through your photos, drawings and words. Through those I see sadness tempered with love and occasional joy. You also have a great love and respect for life. But these are just fragments, and can be misleading to the whole picture. You must spend time with a person to know them well enough to read their soul. And then, you can only read what they allow you to see... what they're willing to share.
Having not met you in person, I cannot truely read your eyes or read your soul. But, from the glimpes of yourself that you have shared through you art and your writtings, I can truely say that I care. For even though we have never met, and might never meet, I still consider you a friend.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
